About the Chef:

I’m Joslyn a.k.a Chef Juice! I am a trained, professional chef who loves cooking and teaching others about different cultures through food! I've been in the culinary industry for 5+ years now and along the way I've gained many skills to be able to open this business to teach others, no matter what age, what I'm tremendously passionate about! I graduated Culinary School with every intention in owning a business solely to teach others how to cook & have expanded to more culinary adventures. My passion for being in the kitchen started when I was young and when I had the opportunity to travel abroad to France in high school, I was able to partake in a cooking class and I fell in love with the idea because I love to cook and I love to teach others! To some, cooking might be intimidating, but I’m here to teach you and show you that it can be easy; let me show you in a cooking class!

Kids Cooking Classes

Each kids cooking class will be 2 hours long unless otherwise stated and majority of the dish will be made from scratch. “Kid/child” will be referred to as “student” in the remainder of this text. Every student must be at least 5 years old and up to 17 years old to enroll into the class. There are two different age groups for these classes; ages 5-11 and ages 12-17. When booking, please be sure to list the students name and age! In order to ensure each student is included in the class in its entirety, there will only be up to 3 students per class. This is also to ensure each student is safe, with his/her own space while cooking, as the usage of knives will be encouraged and in some classes, a gas stove, grill, and/or oven will be utilized.

Although there is no uniform required, it is highly recommended that each student wear pants and a fitted shirt (not too loose) in case of spills or splashes and to prevent accidents from happening; aprons will be provided!

Each student will make his/her own food from that session and will be able to eat it and take their own leftovers (if any) home to share with family. Not only will each student learn HOW to cook, they will also learn WHY things happen during the process of cooking and WHAT equipment/materials are being used. If a student has an allergy or dietary restriction, it must be stated when he/she is signed up for the class to ensure we can accommodate him/her as best as possible. If we cannot accommodate a student for that particular class, another class will be recommended.

The monthly cost for this service is $170 (Plus taxes + fees) per 1 student. The monthly cost includes three (3) classes of your choice for that month. See 'Upcoming Classes' below to determine which 3 classes you're interested in. This service CANNOT be split between two (2) or more students; it is the cost for one (1) student only. If a student cannot make it to a class for any reason, another class may be chosen in its place to make up for the missed one. Not sure if you're up to that many classes? Try one (1) class for just $62 (Including taxes, service charge may apply)The cost of a private 1 on 1 class is $80 (Plus taxes + fees) per 1 student. All payments must be paid in full before the class starts and there are no refunds.

Parents/Guardians will not be allowed to join/participate in class activities. Pictures/Videos will be available upon request.  A photo release document must be signed and may possibly be used for marketing purposes.

These cooking classes are designed for anyone who wants a fun night learning to cook, dinner dates for two, a friends night out, or a one on one private lesson! Due to space and in order to ensure each person is included in the class in its entirety, there will only be up to 4 people per session.
